        Races & Drags!

4x4 and ATV Racing on the Drag Strip!

The Northeast Off Road Vehicle Competition Association has been sanctioning 4X4 and ATV Sand Drag Racing for more than 30 years. This year’s Ossipee Valley Fair event will begin on Saturday at 10 AM and Sunday at 9:30 AM. Vehicles from throughout New England and New York will compete for cash prizes. Ossipee Valley’s 300 foot track is one of the best race tracks on the east coast. From pick-up trucks to fully modified sand rails, to ATVs running on alcohol, these events will surely keep you on the edge of your seats!

The drag racing event is modeled after (or based on) NHRATM style bracket races. Bracket races have a series of brackets/classes based on specific dial-in ranges. Racers determine what class to compete in by completing practice runs, also referred to time trials or qualifying runs. A handicapped start based on individuals dial-in is used during eliminations. A double elimination format is used meaning you have to lose twice before you are out!
The classes are determined as follows:

4X4 Classes:

Street Eliminator: limited to dot, cut dot and paddle tires. No hooker, super scoopers, or bigger diggers allowed. Dial-in 5.0 or slower
Top Eliminator: Dial-in 5.39 or quicker

                          ATV classes:
Trail Eliminator: ATV's Dial-in 5.70 or slower
Top Eliminator: ATV's Dial-in 5.69 seconds or quicker
Juniors: Dial-in 7.00 or slower (Cannot run quicker than 7.00 seconds)

Limited to racers aged 7-14 years old. Those 13 or older may move up to trail with parent’s approval.
Bikes used in Junior’s competition are limited to 200cc 2-stroke, and 400cc 4-stroke. Larger bikes may be allowed at the discretion of the NEORVCA officials.

PeeWee: Limited to new racers aged 4-6 years old Bikes are limited to 110cc
Chest protectors are suggested

Street Truck Challenge
This is bracket race for street legal 4x4’s currently registered and inspected. Seat belts and helmets are required. Several rounds of time trials will be run before starting a single elimination handicapped race based on individuals dial-in begins. Anyone with a street legal 4x4 gas or diesel is welcome to participate.
